Puppy Start Right

What is it?
The puppy training package is a six-session training & socialization package.

Who is it for?
Puppy owners who want their puppy to grow into friendly, well-behaved adult dogs. We show you how to get off on the right paw with your new puppy—and how to prevent possible behavior problems.

The first 20 weeks are the most important learning period in their entire life. The quality of training and socialization you provide for your puppy now determines what kind of dog you end up with. We have the expertise and knowledge to help prepare your puppy's life.

Sits politely for greetings? Walks calmly on leash? Chews their toys, not the cushions? Loves people and other dogs? Then now is the time to invest in their education.

Puppy problems fixed fast! 6 private training sessions with a Certified Professional Dog Trainer skilled in reward-based training, behavior modification, and early socialization techniques. Your puppy will learn crate training, house-training, chew training, puppy socialization, and puppy manners. You learn how to quickly fix puppy behavior problems and start to enjoy your puppy more.

How does it work?

You come to us or we come to you at a time that is convenient for you. We work with you and your puppy in private sessions, we like to schedule every other week for most puppies. The whole family is welcome to take part. Our gentle and effective methods

 Fear, Separation Anxiety & Aggression Consults

What is it?
Working with an aggressive, reactive, and/or fearful dogs requires a personalized, in-home behavior consultations and training for severe behavioral problems.

What does it help with?
Fears, phobias, barking/lunging on the leash, separation anxiety, and all types of aggression. Behavior issues are often heartbreaking to deal with, and they can create serious conflicts within the home and the community.

The good news? Many, if not most dogs with serious behavior problems can be helped with an in-depth behavior modification program carried out by a certified professional dog trainer. We have the education, experience, and qualifications to accurately evaluate the problem and provide solutions. We with then set achievable goals so you can start seeing success right away. Fear and anxiety are the number one cause of aggression. Poor training can turn a small concern into a dangerous situation. Don't hesitate, we are here to help.

How does it work? 
Step 1. Initial consult. We meet and take a detailed behavioral history, observe and evaluate your dog, and identify the problems. We get to know you and how your dog's behavior has impacted your life You learn what is causing your dog's behaviors and what steps to take to resolve the problem.

Step 2. The training. We meet for subsequent behavior modification training sessions and work with you and your dog until the program is complete. Depending on your dog's needs we may meet in neutral environments, your home, our facility, and other public spaces. With our targeted training plan we can make your lives better. This unwanted behavior doesn't need to continue, you can start to see a difference in just five minutes of daily training. 

Step 3. Support. Rehabilitating a dog with aggression can be a life long project. Many of our students see huge progress. They can then maintain and continue to improve by attending group classes. Living with challenging dogs can be very isolating, we have a quarterly group get together to support and connect with each other hosted by one of our trainers.
