You love your puppy, but you don't need to be an expert dog trainer. Leave that to us. The hardest part of any training program is doing homework, you're already busy. We are the professionals for a reason. In a few weeks we can teach your puppy what we cover in months of group classes. Let us do the heavy lifting and then show you how to maintain your pup's good behavior. It is that easy!

Most of training is mechanical skill and knowing how to solve problems. We spend time getting to know you, your family, and your dog. Then we can create a customized plan to target the behaviors that matter most to you. Enjoy peace of mind that your puppy has a team of experts on their side.

How does it work?

​Step One: Schedule your free phone call 

Step Two: We get to know you and your goals for your puppy and lay out a clear training plan. We host a meet and greet at the school so you are able to see the facility and meet one of our trainers.

Step Three: You drop your puppy off three days a week and we train all day! (Not in Hartford? We have a taxi!)

Step Four: Enjoy your well behaved puppy!

What will my puppy learn?

  • House Training: We’ll teach your puppy to prefer going to the bathroom outside.
  • Crate Training: Crating puppies for long work days before they’re ready can create anxiety and distress. We’ll teach your puppy to love going into their crate on cue and to happily settle down for naps at age-appropriate intervals during the day.
  • Polite Greetings: We’ll teach them to greet people without jumping and nipping, practice makes perfect!
  • Leave-it: We’ll teach them to leave your things alone and chew their own toys instead.
  • Drop: If they do get something they shouldn’t, we’ll teach them to drop it on command instead of you chasing them around. Most puppies learn this in under a week!
  • Coming When Called. We love playing recall games with puppies! Building a strong recall foundation with a young puppy with lead to a lifetime of more freedom!
  • Leash manners Your puppy will learn all about the leash and how to keep it loose to enjoy walks together for a lifetime! We will provide a harness and switch it out when your dog outgrows it. 
  • Stay and Place: We’ll teach your pup to stay on a mat when you’re eating dinner, greeting visitors, or taking them to a café or kids’ sporting events.
  • Basic Commands: sit, down, stay, and maybe a trick or 2.
  • Room to advance: Have the best trained dog on the block and save money on training with our ongoing student discount and free classes during your puppy's program. 

*Every puppy is an individual and will work through the program at their own pace. There is no limit to how long your puppy may attend. The longer they attend the better their behavior and the more money you save with our returning student discount. We never put results above the welfare of your puppy. All our methods are science based and proven to be fun and effective for the whole family. Children as young as 7 or 8 can learn our gentle methods.
