Level Two Manners
Level Three Manners and CGC
In the third level of our manners class we focus on skills for passing the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test. Many of the skills from the first two levels will be practiced with increasing distraction to meet and exceed the expectations of the test. On the week following the completion of the class teams may take the test with an additional fee.
During this class we can also work towards the AKC new trick dog program with weekly tricks to practice. This class is largely student driven. Those that make it to level three have developed a good training partnership with their dogs and enjoy working with them. Many times we veer off track because a group has a shared interest (agility, nosework, rally, competition obedience). |
In the second level of our manners class you will hone the skills developed in level one. We start more advanced training with distance work and distractions.
In addition your dog will learn

Agility dog training even if you don’t recognize it by name, you have probably seen a dog agility competition. Designed to demonstrate a dog’s willingness to work with his handler in a variety of situations, agility is an athletic event that requires conditioning, concentration, training, and teamwork. Dogs and handler teams must negotiate an obstacle course while racing against the clock. Dog agility is a great form of exercise for both dog and handler, and a fun way to bond. And you don’t have to compete to enjoy agility. Taking an agility class offers many other benefits. But many people start the sport just for fun, only to get bitten by the agility bug and become lifelong competitors! Message to sign up! Subscribe to our Newsletter for Updates and deals! |
